Janine Wilson
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Janine has lived and worked in the Cairns and Tablelands area over 20 years. During this time she has worked across a range of settings including the public mental health system at both the Child and Youth Mental Health Service and Evolve Therapeutic Services; in the private school system as both a primary and secondary school Guidance Counsellor; and prior to these in the public education system as a Youth Support Coordinator.
Janine is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with a special interest in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and Play Therapy. She is also trained the following therapeutic modalities that can be tailored to meet your needs and preferences, including:
